OM’s Ship Ministry brings knowledge, help and hope to port cities worldwide through literature distribution, practical aid, cross‑cultural engagement and onboard discipleship. Out international crew members serve in each port alongside local partners, sharing the hope of the gospel while growing through hands‑on ministry and training.

In Spain, OM teams often engage with pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago—a widely traveled spiritual route where people from around the world seek meaning and connection. Ministry here typically involves relational conversations, offering rest or encouragement and sharing hope with travelers in a spiritually dry environment.

In the Arabian Peninsula, OM engages in ministry among expatriate workers and least‑reached communities through relational presence, cultural engagement and marketplace connection. This region offers opportunities to see how professional skills, global work environments and cross‑cultural relationships intersect with ministry.

In many parts of Italy, especially regions with deep Christian tradition, people are often familiar with religious structures yet have never encountered the gospel in a personal way. OM workers emphasize ministry that bridges this gap—building authentic relationships, serving communities and creating natural spaces for meaningful conversations about Jesus.

In London, OM serves among one of the world’s most diverse populations, where nearly every major faith and culture is represented. Ministry often includes interfaith dialogue, cross‑cultural evangelism and community outreach in neighborhoods shaped by global migration. Teams learn to share Christ compassionately among people of many worldviews.

SportsLink, OM’s global sports ministry, uses the universal language of sports to build relationships, open doors in hard‑to‑reach communities and make disciples. Around the world, OM coaches and athletes engage youth through local sports clubs, coaching programs and community competitions—creating natural spaces for connection, character formation and Discovery Bible Studies. SportsLink opportunities are also available in South America.

In Poland, OM serves in a rapidly changing and increasingly multicultural context, especially among refugees and immigrants affected by regional conflict. Ministry often includes practical care, community programs and relational outreach alongside local churches—creating spaces for emotional support, gospel conversations and discipleship in communities where evangelical presence remains small.

In Moldova, OM partners with local churches to reach communities with little evangelical presence. Ministry often includes church‑planting support, relational village outreach and practical care for vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly and families facing poverty or displacement—meeting physical needs while fostering long‑term gospel witness.

Note: Actual activities vary by field and season; groups would explore possibilities during consultation.
