OM has been working in the MENA region since the 1960s, initially with a strong emphasis on evangelism and distribution of gospel materials. Since the 1990s, there has been a great emphasis on church planting and holistic ministry as well. Our strategies in these countries are to mobilize local believers, make use of mass media, invest early on into new believers, and equip them to take responsibility and leadership themselves to reach others.
