The Dominican Republic is located on the island of Hispaniola in the Greater Antilles of the Caribbean Sea, sharing its land border with Haiti. With a population of over 11 million—second only to Haiti in the Caribbean—the Dominican Republic’s vibrant capital, Santo Domingo, is home to more than 3.6 million people. The country boasts the largest economy in the region, driven by construction, manufacturing, tourism, mining and international trade. Spanish is the official language.

Christianity is the dominant faith, and the evangelical movement has seen remarkable growth. This upward trend continues, supported by strong leadership from the Association of Evangelicals. The gospel is advancing, and the Church is rising.

OM in the Dominic Republic is passionate about mobilizing churches and believers to share the love of Jesus with the nations. In partnership with local churches, we equip and inspire individuals for mission, offering opportunities to serve both locally and globally through short-term and long-term outreaches.
