Norway is known for its fjord-indented coastline, mountains and unspoiled natural beauty. It is a long, narrow and mountainous narrow country with a small population of 5 million people located in Scandinavia. Over the last 60 years, the country has developed from one of the poorest countries in Europe into a strong and wealthy industrial state with high earnings from oil, mining, fishing, forest products and high-tech industries.
Share love with the many immigrants and refugees who have come to settle here. Struggling to learn Norwegian and fit into society, many have never encountered God’s love. Share love through the weekly food distribution. Participate in the fun of learning Norwegian through the language café, or the small second-hand shop. Visit new friends.
Share love with the school kids stopping by to play table tennis and talk more deeply about life and faith. Share love with the one hundred children of differing nationalities and backgrounds at the week-long camp each summer. Encourage Christian teens to grow in their faith at the TeenStreet International camp in Germany or the Netherlands. Share love by teaching students how to share God’s love with others.
