Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a beautiful island nation in the eastern Caribbean, nestled between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean. To the north lies Saint Lucia, Barbados to the east, and Grenada to the south. The country is made up primarily of the island of Saint Vincent—home to the capital city, Kingstown—and the northern portion of the Grenadines, a chain of 32 smaller islands.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) was a British colony from 1783 until it peacefully gained independence in 1979. Today, it remains a proud member of the Commonwealth of Nations. The economy is driven by agriculture, especially banana production, and a growing services sector centered on tourism. English is the official language, while Vincentian Creole English and French patois are also spoken.

Though SVG is a religious nation, many people lack a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The smaller Grenadine islands, due to their isolation, often lack access to churches and spiritual resources. Evangelical Christians are actively working to plant churches and bring the gospel to these underserved communities.
