Venezuela is a lively and resilient nation facing deep poverty and instability, where believers are sharing God’s love with both locals and migrants through practical service and relational ministry. Despite vast oil reserves, the country struggles with food shortages, hyperinflation and corruption, prompting millions to seek opportunities abroad. Yet within Venezuela, there is a hunger for hope and transformation.
In cities like Caracas, where over 85% of the population lives, international workers and national believers are mentoring youth, building friendships and encouraging faith—even with basic Spanish. With over 80% of the population identifying as Christian and 66 people groups represented, many still haven’t heard the Gospel. Religious freedom allows space for ministry, though church attendance is low and spiritual searching is high.
By equipping young professionals to live out their faith in everyday life, whether at home or abroad, there are powerful opportunities to impact Venezuela’s future.
Whether you come for a long, or short time, or whether you pray, or invest in lives through financial support, there are many ways for you to share God’s love with the people in Venezuela.
God, we lift up the people of Venezuela to You. In the midst of poverty, uncertainty and hardship, may Your love bring peace, provision and hope. Strengthen Your church, guide young hearts and raise up faithful workers to share Your truth in every corner of the nation.
