The missions pastor of a church in Nashville took part in a Vision Trip to Cairo, Egypt in March 2018. Moved by the needs he witnessed among the Sudanese refugee community living in the slums, he returned home and organized a medical mission trip in March 2019 to serve these uprooted and persecuted people.
This team had such an impactful experience that a second ministry team returned in August to work with the Sudanese students in the Good Friends School and the church that meets in the school on weekends. This church has already scheduled their next trip as they deepen their partnership with OM and the work among the Sudanese refugees.
