COVID-19 impacted nearly everyone around the globe. Life as we knew it was disrupted. But in the midst of the crisis, friends and partners of OM came together to generously give $2,357,993 for COVID-19 relief work around the world. The goal of these efforts was to help OM workers around the world continue to spread the hope and help of Jesus to those in need during an unprecedented time of uncertainty.

This aid helped OM workers and their families to stay on the field. It helped to develop and expand media outreaches in areas where COVID-19 restrictions limited in-person outreaches. It mobilized local believers when borders between countries closed to help stop the spread of the virus. It helped alleviate suffering in places where people were destitute. And it opened up opportunities to reimagine existing ministries amidst changing restrictions.

While this pandemic radically changed what normal life looked like around the world, it couldn’t stop the Gospel. The love of Jesus Christ is still being lived out by OM workers everywhere, even in the midst of a global pandemic.
