To advance the mission of Operation Mobilization, the HR Generalist supports the full employee lifecycle and helps ensure HR programs, policies, and processes run efficiently. This role partners with the Director of HR to drive a positive workplace culture, maintain compliance, and support key HR initiatives including talent management, performance, benefits, and employee relations.
Job Summary
The HR Generalist will support daily human resources operations across the full employee lifecycle. The role will handle employee relations, recruiting support, onboarding, HR policy guidance, recordkeeping, performance process coordination, and benefits assistance. They will also ensure compliance with employment laws, maintain accurate HR data, assist managers with HR processes, and help promote a positive and productive workplace culture. They will serve as a key resource for employees and leaders, balancing administrative tasks with people‑focused support.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or coordinator role.
Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in HRIS platforms and Microsoft 365 tools.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
SHRM‑CP or PHR certification.
Experience supporting multi‑state employee populations.
Knowledge of talent management and engagement strategies.
