Thailand is proudly known as the “Land of the Free” or the “Land of Smiles” but the same cannot be said of its spiritual landscape. 

Thailand has become an exciting hub of local and regional mission work with diverse ministries. The nation is considered as one of the least-reached areas in the world, although the church is growing steadily. 

OM in Thailand is involved in a special education ministry to help handicapped children who graduated from middle or high school whose parents could not afford their further studies to develop vocational skills that suit each of them. This way we hope to share our faith through the relationship we build with students, their families and the teachers. Our foreign missionaries use their skills to teach languages for local Thai in the community to connect with them. Personal friendship is built through the class and time they hang out with students. 

We host a small fellowship with international students who come to study in Bangkok.  This is a casual platform for us to build friendships with the students through different activities such as playing board games, have a meal together, exchange culture by cooking and share, chatting time over interesting topics, etc.  We run a community center which is a platform to connect and engage with the community by providing development programs. There, language learning skills and vocational skills are provided to people in the community who are interested.  Alongside many churches in Bangkok, OM joins in to serve the large homeless population. In the ministry, we provide food and clean drinking water for their bodies as well as the gospel for their spirits. 

OM in Thailand is committed to sending missionaries to the least-reached people groups and throughout the world. We partner with local churches to train, equip and mobilize local believers.
